Welcome to Chara Vista Cabin, a newly rebuilt modern mountain retreat, where design meets comfort. This 2 bedroom cabin has mountain views that you've been dreaming of! Our cabin is located on the peaceful side of the smokies in Wears Valley and is only a short drive away from all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. Our hope is that this Smoky Mountain Retreat would be your home away from home. Enjoy a cozy place for friends and family to gather for a memorable stay in the mountains!

When you enter the cabin you will notice a full wall of large windows that show stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. This retreat is ideal for couples, families, & friends looking for a mountain getaway. Chara Vista offers its guests seclusion without being far from the area attractions! The main level features the primary suite with full bathroom, living room with gas fireplace, washer/dryer, a well-equipped kitchen, game room, and a dining table that seats 8. There is also a deck off the main level that overlooks the mountains, making it the perfect place to spend a quiet morning drinking a cup of coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. You will also find a hot tub on this deck and a gas grill. The upper level features a loft bedroom open to the downstairs and the big windows with stunning views of the mountains, full bathroom, wellness deck, and arcade.

Other Details to Note

- All guests must be 25+ (children with parents are allowed) - 8 people max - No Pets - No smoking - Bears are in the area. It is not uncommon for bears to be seen on the property. Please close and lock your car doors. Place all trash in the bear-proof receptacle. - The fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1, as with every cabin in the area. - No outside fires allowed - Access roads are steep and windy but paved.  - The Cabin is professionally cleaned every time a guest checks out and follows all the COVID cleaning protocols and maintain safety as a top priority. - The outside security camera is in place for the safety of guests and the Cabin. Wears Valley is conveniently located near both Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. You will be 5 minutes from local restaurants, small shopping venues, and convenience stores, and 15 minutes to bigger grocery stores, chain restaurants, and all the attractions that Pigeon Forge has to offer. Chara Vista Cabin is located 25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, but only 10 minutes from the "hidden" Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance in Wears Valley. This is probably the least-used entrance to the national park, and offers access to major sights like Cades Cove and Newfound Gap. Since this national park entrance connects to the Little River Gorge Road, you can easily reach all of the popular and scenic areas of the park via Wears Valley. This entrance to the national park takes visitors to the Metcalf Bottoms Picnic area located between the Elkmont and Tremont districts in the Smokies. Additionally, this "hidden" entrance to the national park is a great alternative way to enter the Smoky Mountains when the main road in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is crowded. Many locals use this entrance to bypass traffic in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so it's an excellent way to quickly reach the Smokies. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The view was beautiful. The large kitchen and island were great for cooking. The pool table was great to have as well.

We had an amazing time at Garrett’s place! The house was exactly how the pictures looked and the view and deck were perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. It was a great location for hiking and close enough to go into pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Loved all of their recommendations - we took many of the restaurant and hike ones! The view is beautiful - nothing like coffee with that view or a game on the porch as the sun goes down. Would stay here again in the future with our kids if we come down to the Smokies again!

Our stay was amazing! The listing come to life, it was breathtaking in person. Everything was as depicted in the photos, the master bed was the most comfortable bed, felt like sleeping on a cloud. All of the amenities were top notch and high end. I loved cooking in the beautiful appointed kitchen, had everything we needed. We loved the pass through window from the kitchen sink to the outdoor grill. Made grilling so easy without the running in and out of the house. All the games were so fun, we felt like kids again. The view from the decks was beautiful, we spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space. We had the honor of seeing several of the local black bears, which reminded us of home. Waking up to a view of the mountains starts the day off perfectly. Most importantly, the hosts were amazing! Super responsive for day one of booking to checking in with us during the stay and wishing us a safe trip home. We highly recommend staying at Chara Vista! Thank you for the memories!

Our family spent 3 nights at Chara Vista and we really enjoyed it! It was our first family vacation with a baby and the cabin was a nice retreat from the activities of the day. We utilized the small stroller that the hosts had at the house when we didn’t want to use our larger one. We spent a lot of time on the deck and as beautiful as the house is the deck was our favorite spot! The view is amazing. The cabin is close to everything while still feeling tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Such a cozy retreat! The hosts were so gracious when we had to reschedule due to a winter storm and we were so grateful. They are also very responsive and helpful. Look no further than Chara Vista Cabin!
